リンク先やその他ネットの情報を見るに、ショップでは40K、オークションでも30Kくらいはするもののようであるが、結果的に25Kほどで入手できたのでコストは満足。

The 154cm Roots Snowboard from Endeavor
The twintip Endeavor Roots Series Snowboard lets you session the park and pipe. This aggressive ride has a stiffer flex than an average freestyle board and carbon stringers for snap. The Roots' poplar core is lightweight and poppy for your ollies, and the sintered base is highly durable and fast, so you build plenty of speed on approaches. Endeavor's shotgun inserts give you a nearly unlimited number of stance options. Pro Japanese rider Shingo Kawano liked a canvas that skateboarder Corey Sheppard painted, and so Endeavor adapted it for the Root's topsheet.
In Harmony with Nature. That is the way of Shingo Kawano, the professional Japanese rider behind the artwork and design of this freestyle series. At home in Hokkaido, Shingo rides fast through the legendary haunted trees, escaping the spirits. The Carbon-Tech topsheet, Aspen Wood Core, and Sintered 4000 make up his snowboard, the tool he uses to find the way through pillows, jibs, cliffs, and jumps to safety. His softer flex gives a forgiving ride while the carbon stringers infused in the topsheet keep the “pop” in his ride.Finding the shelter within nature is something very central to Shingo’s soul. The imagery holds much symbolism in the graphic, as Shingo comments on the world right now. Lions rule the land in which they live and keep nature in balance. Humans have a responsibility to protect the Earth and all of its creatures. The media humans destroying the environment. The Earth is a place where humans and nature must live in harmony. ･･･全然自分のレベルにあってないが、まあいいだろう。
2009モデルはフツーの模様だが、2008モデルはボードにあんまりないなんとなくメルヘンチックな絵が描いてある。しかし肝心の「少年とライオン」の部分は、ビンディングを付けると脚の下になってしまうのであった。わざとだろうけど。
幅がちと狭いのが気になりますが、カナダ製ってとこが結構珍しい気がしてよい。
まあなんとかなるでしょう。
